In support of Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault , we are seeking a Logistics Analyst with experience in supporting the New Equipment Training (NET) efforts for the Amphibious Assault Vehicle (AAV) and Amphibious Combat Vehicle (ACV).
Responsibilities:
- Under direct supervision, assists in providing integrated logistics support activities designed to provide effective and efficient life cycle support of systems and equipment.
- Reviews customer requirements and other data to plan and develop program activities from conceptual stage through the full life cycle of the system.
- Provide technical expertise in the areas of Marine Corps logistics, material and supply management.
- Ability to facilitate accountability in retail- and enterprise-level inventory activities and units.
- Ability to prepare, maintain and control essential supporting documentation to document major events in a capital asset’s lifecycle from acquisition, transference, sub custody and final disposition and/or disposal in support of existence and completeness.
- Propose and manage new mechanisms to improve project workflow efficiencies and proactively identify points of weakness and inefficiency, working with project leads to identify solutions.
- Ability to understand and fulfill the client’s current needs through anticipating and proactively addressing future needs and executing on those efforts.
- Proactive, professional, and detail oriented.
The specific requirements and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Process asset entry into GCSS-MC and DPAS
- Maintain Key Supporting Documents (KSDs)
- Conduct causative research
- Manage MILSTRIP documentation
- Reconcile Due-In and Status Files (DASFs)
- Maintain sub-custody records
- Support capital asset lifecycle documentation
- Assist in internal control implementation
- Support audit readiness
- Conduct trend analysis and reporting
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree Preferred
- Must have at a minimum, four years’ experience training service members in a military period of instruction/program.
Specific/Preferred Requirements:
Working knowledge and experience in the following:
- Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC)
- Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
- Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE/WAWF/EDA)
- FEDMALL, WebFLIS, PDREP, Logistics Data Gateway (LDG), and ETMS2
- Experience preparing and maintaining auditable documentation
- Ability to conduct causative research and resolve account discrepancies
- Familiarity with Marine Corps internal control programs and audit compliance requirements
- Experience facilitating Government property transfers (GFP)

- Ability to manage high-volume transactional workload
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision
Physical Demands:
This position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, speak and hear, and to use hands and arms for routine work tasks. The employee may occasionally lift or move items up to 30 pounds. Vision abilities required include close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses.

This position is performed in a typical indoor office setting with a quiet to moderate noise level.
