Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support commercial, industrial, and government projects. This role will perform electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and field support while also assisting with specialized electrical services, including arc flash field surveys and power system data collection.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on electrical experience, enjoys solving complex electrical challenges, and is interested in expanding their experience into electrical safety, power systems, and arc flash analysis.
This position is ideally suited for candidates located near Lakewood, CO, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements. Remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates based on role requirements and business needs. Regular travel to client sites, project locations, and company offices will be required.
Requirements:- Manage assigned projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and deliverable tracking to support successful execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams, including electrical engineering, to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
- Support projects involving electrical systems, power distribution, controls, instrumentation, and related technical infrastructure.
- Assist in coordinating work in accordance with applicable electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70E; familiarity with arc flash studies is a plus.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and present project updates, status reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, including agenda development, documentation, and follow-up on action items.
- Support contract administration, including scope review, deliverables tracking, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and company quality control procedures.
- Track project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation in coordination with leadership.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support proposal development, estimating, and project planning efforts as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and best practices.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects in both independent and team-based environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, construction, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing projects through multiple phases, including planning, execution, and closeout.
- Experience supporting or coordinating with electrical engineering teams or technical projects is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical safety principles, including NFPA 70E and arc flash awareness, is a plus.
- Strong ability to manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and competing priorities.
- Working knowledge of project coordination, contract administration, and change management processes.
- Experience collaborating with clients, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
- Familiarity with project management and document control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts, technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and conduct occasional site visits as required.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, or ability to obtain.
- Ability to obtain and maintain certifications relevant to assigned duties and project requirements.

- Candidate must successfully pass a background check, which may include verification of employment, education, and other records in accordance with state, local, and federal requirements.
- A valid driver’s license must be possessed and maintained.
- The ability to obtain and maintain access authorization for government and other secured facilities and sites is required.
