The Curriculum Developer will be responsible for creating, improving, and maintaining high-quality technical learning materials for a Data Center Technician training program. The role requires strong instructional design skills, collaboration, and the ability to leverage AI tools effectively while ensuring educational quality and accuracy.
- Develop structured lessons, labs, and assessments using provided outlines and established content development workflows.
- Create detailed lesson plans applying learning experience design principles before full content development.
- Use GenAI tools to support drafting, refining, translating, and improving instructional materials while reviewing outputs for accuracy and learner suitability.
- Audit existing curriculum content to ensure technical accuracy, relevance, and alignment with current industry practices.
- Collaborate with curriculum developers, learning designers, and subject matter experts to review content and implement improvements.
- Participate in regular meetings to discuss progress, resolve questions, and align on curriculum development priorities.
- Conduct industry research and incorporate new topics and updates into training materials.
- Publish finalized learning content through digital training platforms after receiving appropriate training.
The ideal candidate brings experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or adult education, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and create engaging learning experiences. Experience with IT infrastructure or data center environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
- 3+ years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or adult education.
- Experience creating technical learning content, preferably related to IT, infrastructure, or technology fields.
- Hands-on experience using GenAI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar platforms for content creation and iteration.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and learning experience design methodologies.
- Knowledge of instructional design frameworks such as backward design and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
- Experience creating assessments and evaluating learner outcomes.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Ability to research technical topics and integrate new information into educational materials.
- Strong collaboration skills and openness to feedback from learners, experts, and team members.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with data centers, IT infrastructure, or technical operations is a plus.
