$90,000 - $95,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to our elderly residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Monitor and assess residents' health status, promptly addressing any changes or concerns.
- Train and supervise staff to administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Educate residents and their families on health management and wellness strategies.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in continuous professional development to stay current with nursing best practices and innovations.
- Complete psychotropic reviews, skin assessments, and ensure all medications are in the facility as prescribed.
- Provide disciplinary action, including education and re-training, as it pertains to medication administration.
- Attend meetings and trainings as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience in providing compassionate care to elderly residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Ability to monitor and assess residents' health status, addressing changes or concerns promptly.
- Proven track record of training and supervising staff in medication and treatment administration.
- Strong communication skills to educate residents and families on health management and wellness.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with nursing best practices.
- Experience in conducting psychotropic reviews and skin assessments, ensuring medication availability as prescribed.
