Facilities Maintenance Coordinator

LOCATION: Kingston Pike

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full Time/Non-Exempt/Hourly

HOURLY $25.00

Goodwill Industries--Knoxville, Inc. is seeking full-time Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for our corporate office and stores. Ideal candidates will be energetic, confident, have excellent maintenance skills, understand how to perform maintenance functions, preventive maintenance and mechanically minded. Clean driving record and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Summary:

Responsible for coordinating and performing preventive maintenance, facility inspections, and repair work at all organizational facilities. Provides leadership, assigns maintenance tasks, monitors completion, coordinates vendors, and ensures safe, functional, and efficient facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

o Coordinates and oversees preventive maintenance schedules.

o Assigns and monitors maintenance work orders and ensures timely completion.

o Performs advanced maintenance and troubleshooting including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fixtures, and all facility systems.

o Provides leadership and technical guidance to Maintenance Technicians.

o Coordinates vendor services and ensures compliance with company standards.

o Oversees inventory, equipment, and supply purchases.

o Ensures compliance with safety standards.

o Maintains accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.

o Supports facility improvement projects and installations.

Requirements: 5 years in general maintenance experience with leadership or coordination responsibilities preferred. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, trouble shooting.
