About Us
At Nu Image, we are committed to excellence in patient care and operational support. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Brier Creek location.
Position OverviewAs an Administrative Assistant, your primary responsibility is to support the day-to-day business operations of the office. You will serve as a key point of contact for welcoming patients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing administrative workflows to ensure a seamless patient and staff experience.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Reception & Communication: Welcomes patients warmly, answers phone calls, and addresses patient requests, concerns, and needs in a professional and friendly manner.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management: Monitors the schedule daily and schedules appointments in consideration of practice production, capacity, and utilization goals. Manages provider schedules and tracks continuing care and overdue treatment lists.
- Financial & Insurance Coordination: Discusses treatment plans, insurance coverage, and patient balances with patients. Accurately determines and documents patient co-pays, deductibles, and expenses prior to upcoming appointments.
- Payments & Records: Accepts and properly records payments made at the time of service, via mail, or over the phone; presents payment options according to practice protocol. Ensures all necessary radiographs, lab cases, medical clearances, and paperwork are complete prior to patient appointments.
- Triage & Administrative Support: Manages triage decisions, issues, complaints, and requests, forwarding them appropriately when needed. Sends requested patient records, checks in lab cases, and assists management with other administrative assignments.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong talent for building professional working relationships and customer service.
- Hours: Full-Time, averaging 40 hours per week.
- Days & Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM (includes reporting for huddle).
- Travel: Travel to other company locations is required as needed (e.g., when assistance is requested elsewhere).
- Mileage reimbursement is provided for all required travel.
- Uniforms & Dress Code: Uniform allowance provided; professional dress code applies.
