Job Type: Full-Time / Contract Position
Work Schedule: Rotating or scheduled administrative shifts supporting dining facility operations, including meal-production, ordering, inventory, headcount, and reporting requirements. Work may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours during emergency feeding operations.

Period of Performance
Operations are anticipated to begin on December 1, 2026, following a phase-in period during November 2026. The contract may continue for up to five years, subject to contract award, task orders, and continued Government requirements.
Summary
The AFMIS Clerk or Administrative Clerk will perform food-service administrative duties and maintain accurate records using the Army Food Management Information System and other authorized systems.
Requirements
- Previous administrative, data-entry, food-service records, or inventory experience preferred
- Computer proficiency and accurate data-entry skills
- Ability to learn and operate AFMIS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar office applications
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills
- Ability to review reports and identify discrepancies
- Ability to protect passwords and sensitive information
- Ability to meet system-access, cybersecurity, and installation-access requirements
- Must be available to support assigned operational and reporting schedules
Duties
- Enter and maintain food-service data in AFMIS
- Support menu planning and production scheduling
- Process food orders, receipts, issues, and inventory transactions
- Maintain meal-production and headcount records
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Assist with ration accountability and inventory reconciliation
- Review data for accuracy and correct authorized errors
- Maintain electronic and hard-copy dining facility records
- Support cash and meal-accountability documentation
- Track employee training, certifications, and administrative requirements
- Assist management with correspondence, schedules, and reports
- Protect Government systems, user accounts, passwords, and data
- Coordinate system problems with authorized personnel
- Maintain files according to applicable requirements
