About the role
The Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the onsite retail location. This position supports daily store operations, ensures accurate inventory management, and upholds the Brand Junkie standard of service.
What you'll do
- Greet and engage customers, delivering service aligned with Brand Junkie standards.
- Process payments, exchanges, and returns using the store’s Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Merchandise the store and monitor floor stock to ensure inventory is well-stocked and attractively displayed.
- Prepare inventory replenishment requests based on customer preferences, seasonal trends, and sales data.
- Review inventory reports to maintain accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Follow all POS policies and procedures, including opening/closing routines, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Comply with all company standards and policies outlined in the employee handbook.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of retail experience and or customer service.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with active listening abilities.
- Proven sales and customer service skills.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and recommend suitable merchandise.
- Quick learner with the ability to operate the store’s POS system.
- Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to stock shelves and assist customers.
- Comfortable working in a retail environment that may include moderate noise and temperature fluctuations.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as scanning items and handling merchandise.
Position Type & Schedule
Full-Time
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
The pay range for this role is:
15.50 - 18 USD per hour(Lockheed Martin Facility - Fort Worth)
