CAH- AIU- Unit Coordinator – Per Diem- Various Shift 7a-7:30p/7p-7:30a - Req 9638

Pay Range: $19.68-$26.86*+

Job Summary:

Performs receptionist and secretarial duties in a patient care setting. Registers admissions when Registration Department is not available. Assists all departments to complete daily discharge chart requirements. Assist supervisor as needed with various assignments. Participates in performance improvement activities. In charge of CPSI ED log charges, daily/monthly statistics and order entry. Answers phones and assists customers or gets someone who can assist.

REPORTS TO:

• AIU Manager or Administrator of Patient Care Services

EDUCATION:

• Preferred:High school diploma/GED

TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Close and accurate attention to detail

• Courteous customer service skills

• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Preferred:

• Medical terminology knowledge

• Previous reception or secretarial experience

+This rate does not include the per diem rate of $2 nor the overnigth shift differentials of $5 (hours worked between 3p-11p, must work 4 hours to qualify) and $6 (hours worked between 11p-7a).
