Driver in Candler, North Carolina at Road King Trailers Inc

We are looking for an experienced truck driver for to serve our dealer network in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities

Transport trailers to our dealer network using a flatbed truck
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
tie down loads in a safe manor to be transported
Assist the dealers in loading and unloading parts
Make sure correct items go to the correct location
Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills

Proven work experience as a truck driver
Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software
(ELD logs)
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
Valid CDL driving license - Class A or B

Pay: $26.00-$30.00
