Support our laboratory customers throughout the US. As an Instrumentation Service Technician you are responsible for onsite Preventative Maintenance and technical service (repair) visits for SEAL Analytical Analyzers.
What You Will Do:
- Supervising and mentoring service engineers and technicians.
- Scheduling in-house repairs and field service assignments and managing workloads.
- Providing technical guidance on complex repairs and troubleshooting.
- Performing complex repairs and troubleshooting
- Handling customer escalations
- Monitoring service quality, productivity, and response times.
- Coordinating with customers to resolve service issues and maintain satisfaction.
- Managing inventory of tools, parts, and equipment.
- Preparing performance reports, budgets, and service metrics.
- Supporting training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborating with engineering, sales, and production teams to improve products and service processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Strong technical skills understanding of electrical/mechanical theory is required.
· Must have the ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, electronic/mechanical drawings, and technical operation manuals.
· Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar
· Foreign language skills are a plus.
Management Skills and Experience
- 3 – 5 years supervisory experience
- 10 plus prior field service or maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or service management software.
- Ability to travel 75% of the time
Flexibility
- Demonstrate a desire and ability to travel, including international travel
- Passport (or ability to obtain one) is required
- Valid Driver’s License

Requirements:- 2-5 years’ experience or electronic degree/certificate
- Strong interest in travel - as you will be visiting customer laboratories up to 75% of the workweek. Overnight stays are normal but weekend travel is rarely required. Mostly Continental US, with some international travel possible
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to interact with all levels of management and customers
- Working knowledge of Digital Electronics, including typical test equipment such as a VOM.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Organized - handle travel arrangements, expense reports, customer appointments
- Valid Driver’s license and ability to obtain a passport
- Must be physically capable to move 50 lbs.
