Referral Coordinator in Carlsbad, California at The Neurology Center

The Neurology Center is seeking a Referral Coordinator to join our practice. The Referral Coordinator will work alongside the clinical staff to obtain authorization for all orders. The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Organizational skills
• Time management skills
• Team player attitude
• Strong computer skills
• Submitting experience

Preferred experience:

• EPIC experience
• Experience with HMO, PPO'S, POS'S, EPO'S, and Medicare
• Experience receiving inbound calls from patients

Schedule:

• Full Time; Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person (Carlsbad, San Diego, or Temecula)

• Obtain authorization from insurances via phone, fax, or online portal submission
• Coordinate appeals with Physicians
• Accurately document approvals/denials in EMR system
• Follow up on pending authorizations
• Fax Referrals to the appropriate Facilities
• Call patients to inform them of their Referral Approvals
