Responsibilities Include:
Content Creation and Visual Storytelling
• Create social media graphics, carousels, stories, announcements, event materials, and other digital assets using Canva.
• Turn photos, videos, interviews, campaign ideas, organizational updates, and creative direction into polished, platform-ready content.
• Develop content that highlights ANY’s mission, programs, students, events, partnerships, impact, and organizational priorities.
• Adapt and repurpose content for different campaigns, audiences, and platforms while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
Short-Form Video and Multimedia Content
• Edit short-form videos, reels, interview clips, event footage, and other multimedia content for platforms including LinkedIn and Instagram.
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, branding, music, and other elements as appropriate.
• Identify strong moments from interviews, events, and existing footage that can be used for future storytelling.
Canva Template and Brand Asset Management
• Develop, update, and maintain reusable Canva templates for social media, presentations, events, email graphics, organizational announcements, and other recurring communications needs.
• Organize ANY’s Canva workspace, including templates, folders, brand assets, photographs, and design libraries.
• Help make approved templates and design systems clear, consistent, easy to find, and easy for staff to reuse.
Social Media Coordination
• Schedule and publish approved content across ANY’s social media platforms.
• Support the social media and editorial calendars by tracking content needs, deadlines, approvals, and deliverables.
• Format captions, tags, links, and visual assets for publication and review scheduled posts for accuracy before they go live.
• Monitor relevant social media trends and recommend timely, appropriate ideas for future content.
Digital Asset and Content Library Management
• Maintain an organized archive of photos, videos, graphics, templates, completed content, working files, and final approved materials.
• Name, label, categorize, and store creative assets so they are easy to find, reuse, and adapt for future campaigns.
• Coordinate with staff to collect photos, videos, quotes, and other materials from programs, campaigns, and events.
Collaboration and Project Support
• Partner with the Associate Director, Digital Marketing & Strategic Communications to support social media strategy, digital campaigns, and organizational storytelling projects.
• Gather the information, photographs, video footage, copy, and other materials needed to complete content assignments.
• Ask clarifying questions, provide regular updates, incorporate feedback, and manage revisions while staying aligned with priorities, deadlines, and brand standards.
• Support communications projects related to fundraising, recruitment, events, partnerships, organizational announcements, and other priorities as needed.
Event Content Support
• Work closely with the Associate Director, Digital Marketing & Strategic Communications on event-related content before and after organizational events, including social media posts, recap content, highlight graphics, short-form videos, and organized event assets.
• Candidates based in the New York/New Jersey area or Chicago may have opportunities to attend select events to capture photos, videos, interviews, and real-time content, but event attendance is not required.

Adaptability and Initiative: Adjusts to changing priorities, platform needs, and campaign timelines while identifying creative opportunities and completing assignments with appropriate independence.
