About Zynap

Zynap is redefining how companies defend themselves in cyberspace, building the first AI agent workflow platform for preventive cybersecurity.

Our AI-driven platform acts as the operational brain for security teams, automating what slows them down, connecting what’s fragmented, and transforming threat intelligence into proactive defense. By combining offensive security, threat intelligence, and AI agents, Zynap helps organizations detect faster, respond smarter, and prevent threats before they spread.

Join us in shaping the future of cybersecurity, where anticipation, foresight, and action redefine protection.

About the role

  • The Strategic Operations Manager will work as the right hand to our Chief of Staff, supporting the Strategic Operations function and keeping Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Engineering, and Marketing aligned, moving, and accountable. This is a high-impact, company-wide role at the intersection of strategy and execution.
  • You will be the connective tissue between teams, the person who turns decisions into action plans, and the one who leads our security certifications programme. You will also engage directly with strategic clients when needed. If you thrive where no two days look the same and take pride in making a fast-moving organisation run well, this role is for you.

What you'll do

Cross-functional operations (core)

  • Support the Strategic Operations function, translating company priorities into structured plans across Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Engineering, and Marketing
  • Facilitate cross-team rituals: planning cycles, OKR reviews, syncs, and leadership forums
  • Track and surface cross-functional dependencies, risks, and blockers before they become problems
  • Own the operational cadence of the company: agendas, action items, follow-ups, and decision logs
  • Prepare briefing materials, executive summaries, and status updates for leadership and the board
  • Engage directly with strategic clients where relevant, including support to PoCs and pre-sales motions

Security certifications programme

  • Lead the management and coordination of the ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certification programme, keeping it on track and audit-ready
  • Coordinate Engineering, Security, and Legal so that controls are implemented, documented, and evidenced — you drive the programme; the teams own the technical work
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and certification bodies
  • Maintain the compliance roadmap and proactively flag upcoming deadlines and gaps
  • Keep internal compliance documentation, policies, and evidence repositories up to date

What we're looking for

Must have

  • 3+ years in strategic operations, business operations, programme/project management, or a comparable operational role in a tech company (more experience is welcome and will be valued)
  • Solid programme/project management foundation, with a track record of driving cross-functional work and holding multiple stakeholders accountable at once
  • Ability to lead the management and coordination of ISO 27001 and SOC 2 certifications end to end — from roadmap and deadlines to auditor interlocution
  • Good understanding of how product and engineering teams work: roadmaps, sprints, release cycles, and OKRs
  • Comfortable in front of clients and senior stakeholders, able to hold the conversation with credibility
  • Professional English and Spanish, both written and spoken
  • Comfortable building lightweight operational systems from scratch with tools across the stack (Notion, Jira, Slack, or equivalents.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience running ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2 audits: evidence collection, control mapping, working directly with auditors
  • Background or familiarity with cybersecurity
  • Experience in solutions engineering, pre-sales, or client-facing PoCs
  • Catalan or additional languages

How we work

  • Sound executive judgement: you decide what to prioritise under ambiguity, not just execute
  • Credibility with senior stakeholders and clients, with the interpersonal skills to influence without authority
  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information — board materials, pipeline, strategy
  • A filter, not a funnel: you absorb noise and surface what matters rather than forwarding it up
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail — nothing falls through the cracks
  • Clear, direct communicator who can synthesise complex information for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive, autonomous, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving start-up environment

What do we offer

  1. Scope & exposure: A front-row, company-wide role as the right hand to the Chief of Staff, with direct visibility across strategy, product, sales, and clients from day one
  2. Flexibility: Flexible hours and a flexible benefits plan
  3. Growth & team: In-house training, team-building events, and a young, energised, international team in a start-up environment
