Job Description Summary

Reporting to the VP, Treasury & Operations, this position is responsible for managing ECLF’s operational framework, including consistent and efficient supervision of day-to-day operational tasks, coordination and maintenance of business policies and processes, systems and data management. This role leads cross-functional coordination across the lending, capital, portfolio administration and asset management teams to support efficient operations and represents ECLF on Enterprise-level operational initiatives. This role is also responsible for coordination across ECLF teams and Enterprise support departments to ensure alignment on program requirements and is program management lead and key point of contact for ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and consistent execution of program monitoring and management requirements.

Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Policy & procedures
  • Oversees development and maintenance of ECLF entity-level policies and procedures, creating appropriate policy and/or process documentation for external audiences, as needed.
  • Supports other ECLF teams in management of policy and procedure maintenance. Routinely reviews and assesses for adequacy of current policy/process needs.
  • Business process & systems
  • Manages business systems administration and support across teams, coordinating and documenting implementation of changes.
  • Works with management to help set priorities for systems improvements and implementation and actively participates in efforts to identify opportunities to streamline and improve end-to-end operational workflows while ensuring data accuracy.
  • Facilitates/provides operational support to ECLF teams, as appropriate.
  • Serves as ECLF lead on Enterprise-level data management efforts, coordinating with ECLF teams (including records retention).
  • Serves as coordinator and ensures necessary actions taken for internal and external audits.
  • Represents ECLF on Enterprise-level operational and business initiatives, including serving on internal IT data governance committees.
  • Coordinates with ECLF’s capital team and the finance and legal departments to ensure proper management and reporting on proposed and existing ECLF programs and initiatives.
  • Manages execution and organization of business contracts, invoicing, payments and other entity-level business.

Funds/Programs

  • Provides support to Loan Fund teams responsible for program development and execution, including early application, research, etc., development, structuring, and closing.
  • Provides communication and updates between program development/execution teams and other capital teams to facilitate readiness and effective implementation.
  • Coordinates with lending, portfolio administration and asset management teams to help communicate and facilitate the following: process, reporting, compliance, documentation, and any other specific programmatic needs.
  • Coordinates with accounting and legal departments as needed.
  • Serves as program management resource and point of contact as needed.
  • Ensures programmatic monitoring and management requirements are met.
  • Supports programmatic systems development and maintenance to ensure systems remain up to date and meet requirements.
  • Maintains inventory/schedule of programs/funds/programmatic capital in order to track related business needs.

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

  • Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree in business/finance administration, operations management or related field preferred.
  • Five to seven years’ experience in the community development or lending industry with emphasis on finance and structuring lending capital.
  • Prior experience in project management or operations management is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, communicate effectively across departments and with diverse stakeholders, and build strong working relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan, align, and execute work, streamline processes, and effectively manage complexity.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply legal documentation with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Technically proficient, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate systems to efficiently complete tasks and support operational needs.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and represent Enterprise’s mission and work across internal and external audiences.

Salary Transparency

You will be joining a team of talented professionals motivated by serving the community and addressing the need for affordable housing.

Enterprise offers a comprehensive total rewards package for you and your family. The pay range for this position is $100,000 – $120,000. The salary range represents the low and high end of what may be paid for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range, and compensation decisions may be influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
