Talent Development Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Development Specialist based in United Kingdom.

We are seeking a Talent Development Specialist to help design, execute, and improve programs that support the growth and success of a global professional community.
This role combines operational excellence, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to create impactful talent experiences.
You will contribute to scalable initiatives that enhance engagement, professional development, and long-term retention across a diverse international network.
The position requires someone who enjoys managing programs, analyzing data, improving processes, and turning strategic goals into effective operational solutions.
You will work closely with teams across the organization in a fully remote, fast-paced environment where ownership and innovation are highly valued.

Accountabilities:
  • Support talent throughout their journey by providing guidance, resolving operational requests, and ensuring consistent application of policies and processes.
  • Execute and continuously improve workflows supporting talent programs, certifications, referrals, learning initiatives, community engagement, availability processes, and other operational activities.
  • Coordinate the planning, execution, communication, tracking, and reporting of talent development programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the launch of new programs by managing stakeholder coordination, participant communications, documentation, registrations, and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate community engagement campaigns, learning programs, certification initiatives, and other projects designed to improve talent success and engagement.
  • Support pilot programs and experiments by helping define processes, collecting feedback, monitoring outcomes, and identifying improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain internal documentation, knowledge bases, process guides, dashboards, and operational trackers.
  • Monitor program performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide actionable insights to improve talent experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program launches, process improvements, communication updates, and operational readiness.
  • Act as a trusted operational partner by translating feedback and data into recommendations that enhance programs and internal processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • 4+ years of experience in program coordination, operations, customer success, community operations, learning and development operations, people operations, talent operations, or a related field.
  • Strong experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution while managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong proficiency in professional communication through email, collaboration platforms, and virtual meetings.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset focused on creating scalable solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and take ownership in a fully remote environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to balance empathy, consistency, and sound judgment when supporting talent and applying policies.
