Tool Crib Attendant
Full-time | Permanent | Hourly
$21.00 - $23.00 | Plus a 10% Shift Premium
Night Shift: Mon-Thurs 4:00pm to 2:30am

About this Opportunity:
Prepare, order, and monitor all needed tooling and paperwork for upcoming setups.
Responsibilities:
- Adherent to all safety policies and procedures as outlined by Vantedge Medical Wheeling
- Prepare all needed tooling and paperwork for upcoming setups (Setup Bins)
- Order tooling based on job quotes & fill out requisitions for components needed on machining centers
- Monitor tool usage through ToolBoss, Blackhawk VMI system and Infor Visual ERP system.
- Assist in the allocation of raw bar stock for upcoming jobs on Swiss Machining Centers
- Work directly with machine operators and setup personnel to create optimal environment for sustaining production
- Check tooling and kits in/out as needed by machine operators
- Oversee and provide assignments for bar-stocker
- Search for and produce cost-saving measures as opportunities arise
- Cycle counts regularly as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Maintain a controlled environment and admittance to Tool Crib
- Control inventory of items through records and logs
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- All other duties as assigned by manager
- High school diploma or GED Equivalent
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Cooperative, self-starting attitude
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work overtime and/or extended hours as needed
- Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
