Job Description
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Production Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the Production Supervisor and production personnel in various tasks essential for efficient shop floor operations. This role involves physical labor in Nox-Crete’s manufacturing facility, operating tools and equipment, unloading trucks with empty drums, cleaning and preparing packaging materials, filling containers, maintaining a clean work area, and adhering to safety protocols.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Follow work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards for labeling and information on packaging containers.
• Accurately label pails, drums, totes, and other product packaging to maintain straight and wrinkle-free labels.
• Examine and inspect containers to ensure that they are clean and free of any markings and packing specifications are met
• Follow work order instructions for filling containers with products using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials
• Properly seal & label containers or materials when not in use or after work order completion.
• Assist supervisor in timely (2-3 days in advance) work order preparation and distribution as needed
• Assist in label preparation and distribution as needed.
• Work to minimize materials waste and maintain a clean work area.
• Assist in correcting production packaging errors, on hold items, pack outs and extension relabeling.
• Support production team by completing assigned activities and projects.
• Collaborate with batch makers as instructed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the label processing area.
• Follow all aspects of the Health & Safety program and report any unsafe conditions.
• Responsible for the inventory management of labeling supplies including GHS’s packets
• Handles hazardous waste materials as required, ensuring safe collection, packaging, labeling, and compliance with safety protocols and regulations. Collaborates with Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, participation in required training sessions, including initial and annual RCRA Hazardous Waste and Spill Response Training, and is available for emergency response as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Successfully complete annual Hazardous Waste Management training and all mandatory safety courses relevant to this role.
• Demonstrates a proficiency in package labeling with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Follow all work order instructions and standards for package labeling

• Communicate effectively and coordinate seamlessly with operations, quality control, and warehouse personnel to streamline processes and resolve issues.
• Actively engage and collaborate with all team members to foster a clean and organized work environment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS & ABILITIES
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to consistently produce quality work within specified deadlines.
• Proficient in completing routine and repetitive tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
• Capable of bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable and task-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Capable of obtaining Nox-Crete Forklift Operator certification.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• moving mechanical/electrical parts and equipment
• fumes or airborne particles
• vibration
• metal preservatives
• oils and greases
• loud noises
• heat/cold/wet conditions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the job duties the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or twist; talk and hear, see and focus. The employee may lift and/or move heavy objects, up to and exceeding 50 pounds.
