Platinum Care Group is hiring a compassionate and dependable caregiver to support a 92-year-old client in a residential facility setting. This position focuses on full support with daily routines, supervision, and structured care for a client with dementia and mobility limitations. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, and experienced providing total care, including feeding support, hygiene, and consistent redirection in a structured environment.

What You’ll Do

• Provide full assistance with activities of daily living, including hygiene, dressing, and incontinence care with facility staff assistance
• Assist with feeding, including cutting food into small pieces and supervising meals due to swallowing concerns
• Maintain a structured daily routine including meals, activities, rest periods, and bedtime routines
• Provide supervision and redirection due to dementia and memory loss
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and wheelchair support
• Support engagement through music, conversation, and simple activities
• Prepare the client for daily activities, meals, and bedtime routines
• Monitor and document intake, behavior, mood, and any changes in condition
• Communicate updates and concerns promptly with facility staff and the care team

What We’re Looking For

• Caregiving experience preferred (training available)
• CNA or HHA certification a plus
• Experience with dementia and high-acuity clients strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing total care including incontinence support and feeding assistance
• Reliable transportation for travel within the Chicagoland area to attend all assigned shifts, but providing transportation for the client not required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality care
