Key Responsibilities
- Identify member needs through active listening and thoughtful questioning beyond the immediate transaction.
- Strengthen relationships by recognizing returning members and personalizing service whenever possible.
- Represent Trax’s service culture through enthusiasm, empathy, and professionalism.
- Accurately process member cash and check transactions in person and through the mail.
- Maintain proper security and cash control, including checks and other negotiable instruments.
- Complete balancing reports and required documentation within established timeframes.
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of credit union products and services and recommend solutions that meet member needs.
- Conduct member follow-up calls to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities.
- Promote and protect the interests of the credit union at all times.
- Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Minimum of six (6) months of customer service and/or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required

Position Type & Hours
This is a part-time position. Hours vary based on a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional extended hours or weekends may be required based on business needs. Occasional travel to other branches or for training may be required.
