This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Enterprise-Wide Applications Analyst based in the United States.
This role supports enterprise resource planning and global supply chain operations within a complex, technology-driven environment.
You will focus on SAP S/4 functionality, with particular emphasis on Supplier Management and related business processes.
The position combines production support, systems administration, project delivery, testing, and continuous improvement.
You will collaborate closely with business process experts, technical teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
The role offers significant exposure to enterprise applications, system enhancements, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
You will work with technologies including SAP S/4, Ariba, and MDG while helping maintain reliable and compliant business processes.

- Serve as a key liaison for business stakeholders, providing guidance on system changes, enhancement requests, maintenance activities, communications, and application strategy.
- Balance production support, project priorities, stakeholder engagement, and systems administration responsibilities to maintain reliable enterprise applications.
- Support end-to-end project activities, including planning, requirements analysis, test development and execution, security design, documentation, change management, deployment, and go-live activities.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of automated systems, processes, and special projects designed to improve operational efficiency.
- Investigate application issues by analyzing data conditions, developing specifications, and collaborating with programmers and technical teams to resolve problems.
- Partner with business process experts and other SAP S/4 analysts on cross-functional initiatives involving Global Supply Chain and related functional areas.
- Contribute to system and development deployment planning, ensuring changes are properly coordinated and implemented.
- Ensure software changes and processes comply with established technical, security, and compliance standards.
- Test Supplier Management and Global Supply Chain functionality across incidents, enhancements, upgrades, service pack implementations, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Apply knowledge of Ariba and Master Data Governance (MDG) to support enterprise supplier and supply chain processes.
- Maintain and validate system data needed for testing, troubleshooting, and solution development.
- Support continuous improvement by applying technical and functional expertise to develop solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with 1 year of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience participating in SAP S/4 lifecycle implementations and/or production support.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge of SAP S/4, particularly Supplier Management and Global Supply Chain processes.
- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba and Master Data Governance (MDG).
- Experience working across functional areas and understanding the interdependencies between Supplier Management, Global Supply Chain, and other enterprise functions.
- Ability to extract, analyze, and validate SAP table data for troubleshooting, testing, and business analysis.
- Experience supporting application enhancements, maintenance, system upgrades, and implementation activities.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities, with the capacity to investigate complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and process experts.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage production support and project demands simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Access is preferred.
- Ability to work independently under general direction while contributing effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
- Competitive base salary range of $94,200–$141,200, depending on factors such as experience, education, skills, responsibilities, and market conditions.
