This is an opportunity to contribute to complex electrical engineering projects supporting critical nuclear and federal infrastructure.
You will work across the full project lifecycle, from design studies and engineering analysis through procurement and field execution.
The role combines deep technical expertise with cross-disciplinary collaboration and practical problem-solving.
You will develop reliable electrical designs, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation for demanding environments.
You will also engage directly with field teams through site walkdowns, installations, and startup activities.
As a senior technical contributor, you will help mentor engineers and support high standards of engineering quality and project delivery.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to understand project requirements, interfaces, responsibilities, and technical objectives.
• Prepare electrical design studies, engineering scopes, calculations, analyses, drawings, reports, and project estimates.
• Apply electrical engineering expertise to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components, including complex nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
• Develop electrical equipment procurement specifications, evaluate vendor bids, and support equipment selection in accordance with project requirements.
• Prepare and review electrical construction specifications and associated technical documentation.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex electrical engineering problems while ensuring designs meet applicable technical and project requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, technical coordination activities, site walkdowns, field installations, and startup activities as required.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders to ensure effective integration of electrical systems into broader facility designs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, supporting their professional development and the quality of engineering deliverables.
• Contribute as both an independent technical contributor and collaborative team member, maintaining high standards of quality, communication, and project execution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• At least 10 years of experience designing electrical systems and developing engineering calculations, analyses, drawings, and technical reports.
• Demonstrated experience applying electrical engineering principles to the design and qualification of structures, systems, and components.
• Experience developing procurement specifications and electrical sections of construction specifications.
• Previous experience working on nuclear design projects or within nuclear engineering environments.
• Experience participating in project meetings, field walkdowns, installations, and startup activities.
• Strong technical problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with the ability to address complex engineering challenges.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor while collaborating successfully within multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineering professionals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
