Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a E-Comm Static Ads Designer based in Spain.
This role is focused on creating high-volume, high-converting static advertising creative for e-commerce and performance marketing campaigns.
You’ll design assets that are built to capture attention quickly, communicate compelling value propositions, and drive measurable action.
The work spans Meta, Pinterest, Google Display, and programmatic advertising, with opportunities to explore a wide range of visual styles.
You’ll balance polished brand design with direct-response and UGC-inspired creative designed for performance.
Rapid experimentation is central to the role, with frequent iteration of winning concepts, headlines, backgrounds, layouts, and calls to action.
You’ll work in a remote-first, asynchronous environment that prioritizes output, speed, creative thinking, and focused deep work.
Your portfolio and ability to demonstrate the strategic thinking behind successful performance creative will be key to your success.
- Design high-performance static advertisements for Meta, Pinterest, Google Display, and programmatic campaigns, with a strong focus on engagement and conversion.
- Create a broad range of creative formats and styles, from UGC-inspired and unconventional direct-response graphics to polished, premium brand layouts.
- Develop carousels, split-screen comparisons, “Us vs. Them” graphics, checklists, press-style listicles, and other performance-oriented formats.
- Develop compelling visual hooks that capture attention quickly and communicate a clear value proposition within seconds.
- Rapidly iterate on successful concepts by testing alternative headlines, backgrounds, typography, layouts, CTAs, and other creative elements.
- Produce multiple variations of high-performing concepts efficiently to support ongoing creative testing and campaign scaling.
- Maintain an organized design library that enables efficient versioning, reuse, and optimization across advertising platforms.
- Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, composition, and contrast to guide users toward the intended action.
- Use performance insights and campaign feedback to refine creative direction and improve future iterations.
- Collaborate asynchronously with the wider team while maintaining a consistent daily overlap of approximately 2–3 hours for feedback, creative discussions, and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience designing direct-response creative for DTC, e-commerce, lead-generation, or performance marketing campaigns.
- Strong performance-first mindset, with an understanding that effective advertising creative must drive clicks, engagement, and conversions rather than simply look aesthetically appealing.
- Expert-level proficiency in at least one major design tool, such as Figma, Adobe Photoshop, or Canva, with the ability to work quickly without compromising quality.
- Proven ability to produce high volumes of creative and develop 10 or more variations of a successful concept efficiently.
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout, color contrast, hooks, CTAs, and other principles used to encourage user action.
- Experience creating static paid-social advertisements, particularly images and carousels designed for measurable performance.
- Strong creative judgment and the ability to adapt visual styles to different audiences, products, platforms, and campaign objectives.
- Ability to interpret performance feedback and translate it into actionable creative iterations.
- Experience with DTC or UGC-style advertising is highly desirable.
- Strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating static paid-social or performance-media work, including examples of creative hooks, winning concepts, and iterative variations.
- Ability to explain the strategic reasoning behind design decisions and connect creative choices to campaign objectives.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment while maintaining reliable communication and meeting deadlines.
- Remote-first, asynchronous working environment with flexibility to structure your day around focused creative work.
- Daily collaboration window of approximately 2–3 hours, typically aligned with core team hours in the US Eastern Time zone.
- Opportunity to work on high-volume performance creative where design decisions are directly connected to measurable business outcomes.
- Exposure to e-commerce, DTC, paid social, and growth-focused creative experimentation.
- High degree of autonomy and ownership over creative execution and iteration.
- Fast-paced environment that values experimentation, continuous improvement, and output over traditional hours-based work.
- Opportunity to build and refine a portfolio of performance-driven advertising work across multiple platforms and formats.
- Inclusive environment committed to equal opportunity and diverse perspectives.
