Job Description
SummaryThe Area Manager follows the direction of the Regional Managers for the overall leadership, safety, service quality, and operational performance of passenger and ramp service operations across one or more airport locations. This position provides strategic and hands-on leadership to ensure safe, secure, efficient, and customer-focused operations while meeting airline, airport, regulatory, and company requirements. The Area Manager serves as a key liaison between the company, airline customers, airport authorities, employees, and other operational partners.Leadership Project Management Interpersonal Skills Strategic Thinking Results Driven Analytical Risk Management Job DutiesPromote and embody the company mission, vision, and values, ensuring team members in all stations are committed. Ensure the compliance with all policies and procedures and flawless execution of company programs and standards. Motivate and develop a customer centric team. Provide ongoing coaching, direction, and leadership to team. Actively participate in our Safety Management System. Ensure employees are adequately trained to understand and execute their job responsibilities effectively. Be an ambassador for Choice Aviation Services and always cooperate, support internal and external audits, investigations, and evaluations. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of related experience.
- Travel to various stations on short notice and scheduled visits.
- Must successfully complete airline specific training programs and recertification.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Ability to follow processes and procedures in a time sensitive environment.
- The ability to read, write and fluently speak and understand the English language.
