This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Analyst, HR Technology based in India.
As an Analyst, HR Technology, you will serve as a functional owner for Workday Core HCM and Talent, supporting critical HR technology across the employee lifecycle. You will work closely with HR Centers of Excellence, HR Shared Services, Payroll, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into effective system solutions. The role combines Workday configuration, production support, testing, reporting, data governance, and continuous process improvement. You will play an important role in maintaining reliable HR systems while identifying opportunities to optimize processes and user experiences. Your work will span enhancements, releases, integrations, security considerations, and downstream system impacts. This is a collaborative opportunity to contribute to a global HR technology environment while developing deep expertise in Workday and enterprise HR processes.
- Own and maintain functional configuration across Workday Core HCM and Talent, ensuring the platform effectively supports business and employee lifecycle requirements.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot system issues, and deliver enhancements and optimization initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, and the overall user experience.
- Gather and analyze business requirements, partnering with stakeholders to translate HR needs into scalable and effective Workday solutions.
- Configure and test business processes, condition rules, validations, and security-related changes while ensuring solutions align with established governance standards.
- Lead Workday release testing and regression activities to validate system changes and minimize disruption to business operations.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and other HR stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize the use of Workday capabilities.
- Support integrations and assess downstream system impacts to help maintain accurate and consistent data flows across the HR technology landscape.
- Develop reports and dashboards that provide stakeholders with meaningful workforce and operational insights to support informed decision-making.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with applicable governance standards while creating functional documentation, knowledge articles, and support materials for ongoing system management.
- Bring professional experience supporting Workday HCM, with practical knowledge of the platform and its role in supporting HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.
- Experience with Workday Talent is preferred, particularly for candidates who have worked across multiple Workday functional areas.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Workday business process configuration, including the ability to understand requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Have experience with testing, regression activities, production support, issue resolution, and system enhancement delivery in an HR technology environment.
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.
- Bring excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR teams, business stakeholders, and technical partners.
- Workday Pro certification is preferred and can demonstrate advanced functional expertise within the platform.
- Experience supporting global Workday implementations is an advantage, particularly in environments involving multiple stakeholders, processes, or regions.
- Knowledge of EIBs, Workday reporting, calculated fields, and security is highly valuable for supporting a broad range of functional requirements.
- Experience working within Agile or structured project delivery environments is preferred, along with the ability to manage priorities across support, enhancement, and improvement initiatives.
- Remote work in India, providing flexibility to work from a location within the country.
