Job Description

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Full-Time | Tampa, Florida | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Do you want your work to mean something?

At Ethos Health Group, we believe healthcare is about more than treating an injury—it’s about helping people get their lives back.

We specialize in caring for patients who have experienced traumatic brain injuries and other injuries following accidents, and we have the privilege of walking alongside them during an incredibly important part of their recovery.

We’re looking for a compassionate, energetic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who loves connecting with people, celebrates patient progress, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely cares about one another and the people we serve.

If you became a PTA because you wanted to make a difference in people's lives, we would love to meet you.

Why Ethos?

Ethos isn't just our name—it represents who we strive to be.

The word ethos refers to the character and culture of a group of people, and culture matters deeply to us.

We are a rapidly growing neurology organization specializing in traumatic brain injury care, built around a mission of:

Saving Lives Locally. Changing Lives Globally.

Our impact also extends beyond the walls of our clinics. Ten percent of our profits are donated to charitable organizations helping feed, clothe, educate, support, and minister to children and families around the world.

We want people on our team who want their career to be about more than simply clocking in and out. We value service, honesty, excellence, respect, care, accountability, and integrity—and we want our employees to know that their work matters.

What You'll Do

As a PTA in our Tampa office, you'll work closely with our physical therapist and healthcare team to help patients progress through individualized rehabilitation programs.

Your day may include:

  • Guiding patients through therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities

  • Providing hands-on support, encouragement, and education throughout recovery

  • Administering therapeutic modalities as directed by the physical therapist

  • Monitoring patient response and communicating progress or concerns to the PT

  • Helping patients understand home exercises and recovery strategies

  • Maintaining timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Maintaining treatment areas and equipment

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team

  • Creating a safe, encouraging, and positive experience for every patient

Most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to build relationships with patients and celebrate the milestones—big and small—that help them return to the lives they love.

Who We're Looking For

Technical skills matter, but who you are matters too.

You may be a great fit for Ethos if you are:

  • Compassionate and genuinely enjoy helping people

  • Positive, encouraging, and comfortable building relationships with patients

  • Dependable and accountable

  • A strong communicator and team player

  • Comfortable working in a growing organization

  • Organized and committed to excellent documentation

  • Eager to learn and continue developing professionally

  • Someone who takes pride in providing an exceptional patient experience

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program

  • Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant license

  • Knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and procedures

Experience We'd Love to See

Experience in these areas is helpful, but don't let a lack of specialty experience keep you from applying:

  • Personal injury rehabilitation

  • Traumatic brain injury (TBI)

  • Neurological rehabilitation

If you have the right heart, strong PTA fundamentals, and a desire to learn, we want to hear from you.

Your Schedule

Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM

Full-time position based in our Tampa, Florida office.

Come Make an Impact With Us

You can work as a PTA in many places.

We're looking for someone who wants to belong to something.

If that sounds like you, we would love to meet you.
