  • Participate in client meetings, project team meetings, and cross-functional discussions related to study payments.
  • Prepare for, participate in, and follow up on audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Identify payment trends and recurring issues, evaluate their underlying causes, and contribute to improvements in revenue-cycle processes.
  • Collaborate with financial and clinical departments to support accurate, timely, and compliant payment operations.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal stakeholders, investigative sites, and external sponsors.
  • Complete all required and applicable training and perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements

  • Four-year college or university degree, or a two-year college qualification combined with at least one year of office administration or similar experience; equivalent demonstrated skills and performance may also be considered.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ICH, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), FDA or EU directives, as applicable, as well as relevant local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong understanding of financial data, contracts, budgets, payment schedules, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with fluency in the language of the country of location.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required; additional language skills such as Japanese, Mandarin, or Turkish are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to identify discrepancies, recognize trends, and develop practical solutions.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage documentation, naming conventions, filing structures, and multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative, international team.
