As a Property Management Coordinator, you will play a central role in keeping a diverse residential and commercial property portfolio running smoothly. You’ll act as a key connection point between tenants, property owners, vendors, and the broader property management team. Your responsibilities will span tenant communication, maintenance coordination, lease renewals, property records, reporting, and operational follow-up. This is a fully remote position within a collaborative international team, offering significant autonomy and ownership over your work. Success in the role means keeping information accurate, deadlines on track, and issues moving toward resolution without constant supervision. - Respond promptly and professionally to tenant, owner, and vendor inquiries through phone, email, and text.
- Support lease renewal processes by coordinating communications and ensuring important deadlines are met.
- Monitor rent payments, send payment reminders, and follow up appropriately with delinquent tenants.
- Manage maintenance requests from initial intake through resolution, ensuring progress is tracked and stakeholders receive timely updates.
- Coordinate property turnovers, including vendor communication, inspections, and unit-readiness activities.
- Conduct pricing comparisons and support basic market analysis to inform leasing strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant, property, maintenance, and operational records using platforms such as AppFolio and Google Sheets.
- Prepare and review reports related to maintenance, turnovers, tenant satisfaction, and portfolio activity.
- Follow established processes, policies, and compliance requirements consistently.
- Take ownership of tasks independently, ensuring that important details, follow-ups, and deadlines do not fall through the cracks.
- Fluent Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Highly responsive, dependable, and organized, with strong time-management and prioritization abilities.
- High level of integrity and a consistent commitment to accurate, reliable work.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Calm and solutions-oriented when managing multiple priorities or unexpected issues.
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with tenants, owners, and vendors.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new software, systems, and workflows quickly.
- Familiarity with lease agreements and basic property management or real estate processes.
- Previous experience in property management or real estate is preferred.
- Familiarity with AppFolio, LeadSimple, Gmail, Google Sheets, or similar property management and productivity tools is an advantage.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional home-office environment.
- Compensation of $11 USD per hour, depending on experience.
- 6% annual bonus potential, paid quarterly.
