What You'll Do

As an Airport Shuttle Driver, you'll serve as a key representative of LAZ Airport Services by providing safe, reliable, and professional transportation services for airport travelers. You'll help ensure efficient passenger movement while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Customer Service

Greet passengers in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner.

Create positive first and last impressions for travelers.

Assist passengers entering and exiting shuttle vehicles.

Help passengers with luggage, mobility devices, and personal belongings as needed.

Provide directions and airport-related information.

Respond promptly and professionally to passenger questions and concerns.

Communicate delays, route changes, and operational updates as necessary.

Maintain a positive and service-focused attitude throughout each shift.

Shuttle Operations

Safely operate company shuttle vehicles along designated airport routes.

Transport passengers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.

Assist passengers with boarding and exiting shuttle vehicles.

Help load and unload luggage and personal belongings.

Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, company policies, and operational procedures.

Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Accurately complete inspection reports, passenger logs, and other required documentation.

Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, accidents, or operational incidents promptly.

Maintain clean, organized, and passenger-ready shuttle vehicles.

Communicate route issues, delays, and passenger concerns to management.

Teamwork & Operational Support

Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Follow all company safety, transportation, and operational procedures.

Communicate effectively with passengers, coworkers, and leadership.

Remain calm and professional in busy airport environments.

Assist team members as operational needs require.

Represent LAZ Airport Services with professionalism, integrity, and pride.

Qualifications

Required

Valid driver's license.

Driving record that meets company standards.

Minimum of two years of licensed driving experience.

Ability to meet all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.

Ability to obtain and maintain required DOT medical certifications or documentation.

Ability to safely operate company shuttle vehicles.

Ability to successfully complete required background checks, drug screenings, driving record reviews, and medical clearances, where applicable.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Ability to work assigned schedules and maintain reliable attendance.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred

Shuttle driving or passenger transportation experience.

Airport transportation experience.

Parking, hospitality, transportation, or customer service experience.

High school diploma or GED.

Bilingual skills are a plus.

Safely operating company shuttle vehicles.

Maintaining compliance with company policies and DOT requirements.

Supporting efficient airport transportation operations. Building positive relationships with passengers, teammates, and management. Contributing to a safe, organized, and service-focused operation.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, snow, and wind.

Sit and drive for extended periods.

Stand and walk throughout the workday.

Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Bend, stoop, squat, reach, and move frequently during a shift.

Safely enter and exit shuttle vehicles.

Assist passengers with luggage and personal belongings.

Conduct vehicle inspections and related operational tasks.
