Freelance CRM Coordinator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Freelance CRM Coordinator based in the United States.

As a Freelance CRM Coordinator, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing customer engagement campaigns from concept to launch across email and SMS.
You’ll coordinate briefs, creative assets, audiences, approvals, and timelines to keep campaigns moving smoothly.
The role combines detailed campaign execution with testing, quality assurance, segmentation, and performance monitoring.
You’ll work closely with marketing, creative, and cross-functional partners in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Your attention to detail will be essential to ensuring every campaign is accurate, personalized, compliant, and delivered on schedule.
You’ll also contribute to lifecycle marketing initiatives designed to strengthen customer engagement and retention.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the end-to-end CRM campaign briefing process, partnering with marketing, creative, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and secure necessary approvals.

  • Maintain campaign timelines and proactively manage milestones to ensure creative assets, copy, approvals, and other inputs are delivered on schedule.

  • Build, configure, test, and launch email campaigns, flows, and automations using Klaviyo.

  • Build, configure, test, and launch SMS campaigns, flows, and automations using Attentive.

  • Upload and organize campaign assets, including imagery, copy, links, dynamic content, and personalization elements.

  • Execute audience segmentation and A/B testing across email and SMS campaigns.

  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Loyalty & Retention to maintain and execute the monthly CRM campaign calendar.

  • Manage list hygiene, suppression logic, audience requirements, and other database-quality processes.

  • Conduct thorough pre-send quality assurance across devices, email clients, and platforms, validating links, rendering, personalization, dynamic content, and compliance requirements.

  • Monitor campaign performance and contribute to reporting, analysis, and identification of opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and other stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, consistently, and on time.

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience managing email and/or SMS campaigns from initial briefing through execution and launch.

  • Hands-on experience building and managing email campaigns, flows, segments, templates, and A/B tests.

  • Hands-on experience building and managing SMS campaigns, flows, segments, templates, and A/B tests.

  • Experience with Klaviyo and/or Attentive is preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with a consistently high standard for accuracy and quality control.

  • Strong organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Data-driven mindset with comfort interpreting campaign reporting and performance metrics.

  • Experience working with e-commerce or direct-to-consumer brands.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.

  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and maintain momentum in a fast-paced environment.

  • Familiarity with Tableau or similar business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.

  • Understanding of lifecycle marketing and customer retention strategy is advantageous.

  • Experience with dynamic content, personalization, and integrated email/SMS programs is beneficial.

  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

  • Experience in art, home décor, luxury retail, or other premium consumer categories is considered an advantage.

Benefits
  • Compensation: $40–$50 per hour.

  • Engagement: Freelance/independent contract position.

  • Schedule: Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
