Line Cook, Il Forno Pizzeria in San Antonio, Texas at Restaurant Gwendolyn

Pay 15-16 starting. Am Shift can be as early as 6 AM-1:30 PM but more commonly 8 AM-3PM, and PM is usually 2 PM to 10 PM, some mid-shift. (closing should never be later than 10:30-11:00). Family meal provided every shift.

Sundays off, major holidays (Thanksg/Xmas/NYD/Mother's Day) always off. Three restaurants, room for advancement.

We are looking for a full time cook with at least some Italian restaurant experience--especially on pizza station. Il Forno is fast-paced and high pressure, small kitchen, limited menu, currently number 23 in the top 50 pizzas in the United States. Responsibilities include:

*balling and stretching dough
*assembling pizzas to order
*working with a wood fired oven (not gas assisted, we do it the old fashion way)
*deep cleaning tasks
*prepping for the menu
*maintaining a station
*good communication skills
*multitasking
