Our Team Leaders are responsible for supporting senior leadership in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. A Team Leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and managing the floor effectively with the team members scheduled. Team Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow.

Team Leader Responsibilities:

  • Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
  • Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
  • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
  • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including machines, breading, assembling, utilities, and food prep
  • Stock kitchen inventory as needed
  • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
  • Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
  • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
  • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
  • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
  • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
  • Be a friendly, encouraging team player
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is required
  • Strong people skills with a desire to serve Team Members
  • Ability to manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
  • Consistent and reliable
  • Cheerful and positive attitude
  • Loves serving and helping others
  • Strong commitment to superior customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to multi-task
  • Works well independently and in a team environment
  • Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have the ability to lift and carry 25-50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
