Muleshoe Area Hospital District is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead all human resources functions for its Critical Access Hospital and affiliated healthcare operations.

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee relations.
• Administer compensation, benefits, leave programs, and personnel records.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and regulations.
• Support performance management, workforce development, and organizational culture.
• Maintain HR policies, employee handbook provisions, and compliance programs.

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• Three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Knowledge of employment law, employee relations, recruitment, benefits, and HR compliance.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Healthcare HR experience.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
• Experience with Paylocity Human Capital Management (HCM) software strongly preferred.

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, OSHA, and I-9 requirements.
