JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Staff Accountant prepares and maintains financial records, ensures accuracy in financial reporting, and supports month-end and year-end closing processes. This individual will work closely with the Assistant Controller and other accounting staff to support the company's accounting and financial operations.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Process accounts payable and/or accounts receivable transactions
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
  • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation
  • Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Assist with special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
