Job Description

Senior Mulesoft Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior MuleSoft Developer based in Brazil.

This role is focused on designing and delivering scalable enterprise integration solutions that connect critical business systems across a complex technology landscape.
You will take ownership of end-to-end integration architecture using MuleSoft, ensuring robust, secure, and high-performing API ecosystems.
The position requires strong technical leadership, as you will influence architecture decisions and guide engineering best practices across teams.
You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into reliable, scalable integration designs.
This is a senior-level role with high visibility, where your work directly impacts system connectivity, data flow, and enterprise efficiency.
You will also mentor engineers and help elevate the overall quality and maturity of integration development practices.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft and related API technologies across enterprise systems.
  • Define and promote integration architecture standards, best practices, and scalable design patterns.
  • Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead technical solution reviews, ensuring high-quality, secure, and maintainable integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across distributed systems and APIs.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level engineers, improving team capability and delivery quality.
  • Drive improvements in reliability, performance, and scalability of enterprise integration platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise integration development, with strong hands-on MuleSoft expertise (including DataWeave).
  • Deep knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, enterprise integration patterns, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong experience designing and delivering scalable, complex integration solutions in large enterprise environments.
  • Solid understanding of security principles applied to APIs and distributed systems.
  • Proven ability to influence technical direction and architecture without formal authority.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to high-performing technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
  • Nice to have: Salesforce integration experience, Kafka, telephony integrations (e.g., Five9), or enterprise modernization programs.
  • Nice to have: prior experience as a Technical Lead or Solution Architect.
