Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Donor Engagement Representative to join our growing Event Marketing and Fundraising team. This entry-level role focuses on building relationships with donors, increasing awareness for nonprofit partners, and supporting fundraising initiatives through direct community engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact, enjoys interacting with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with current and prospective donors to promote fundraising campaigns and nonprofit initiatives.
  • Educate community members about organizational missions, programs, and fundraising goals.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with donors and supporters.
  • Represent nonprofit partners and clients at fundraising events, outreach campaigns, and community activations.
  • Answer questions and provide accurate information regarding donation opportunities and campaign objectives.
  • Track donor interactions and maintain accurate records of engagement activities.
  • Assist with donor retention efforts by providing exceptional customer service and follow-up support.
  • Support fundraising goals through relationship-building and donor acquisition efforts.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs focused on communication, fundraising, and leadership development.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service, retail, hospitality, sales, fundraising, or nonprofit experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to build rapport and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
