You will lead a lean but high-impact development team responsible for building and enhancing scalable, user-centric solutions within a complex healthcare environment. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, ensuring technology delivery aligns with business priorities and patient-centered outcomes. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven setting where technology directly improves care delivery and user experience.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to a small development team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Own and evolve the development roadmap for Salesforce Health Cloud and associated digital platforms and portals.
  • Lead the design, enhancement, and maintenance of client-, provider-, and patient-facing digital tools and experiences.
  • Translate business priorities into structured development plans, timelines, and resource allocations in partnership with IT leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with data and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration across the broader technology ecosystem.
  • Establish development standards, governance models, and delivery practices that ensure quality, scalability, and consistency.
  • Oversee vendors and external partners to optimize delivery efficiency and technology investments.
  • Act as escalation point for technical and operational issues requiring leadership-level decision-making.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in IT and/or product development, including 3+ years leading technical teams.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms; experience with Salesforce Health Cloud strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing digital products, portals, or multi-audience technology solutions (client, provider, and/or patient-facing).
  • Strong Agile expertise (Scrum, Kanban), including backlog management, sprint planning, and iterative delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic roadmap ownership with operational execution.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated environments is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, outcomes-driven, and fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary range of $150,000–$180,000, based on experience
  • Performance-based bonus eligibility
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance, disability coverage, and tax-advantaged savings options
  • Employee Assistance Program and home office support
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
  • Paid time off, holidays, and additional leave policies
  • Employee Ownership Program and mission-driven workplace culture
  • Remote-first flexibility with cross-time-zone collaboration (EST–PST).
