Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Repair or replace faulty components to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant training preferred.
- Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule, including some weekends and overtime as needed.

Requirements:Core Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Operate and maintain air compressors, variable frequency drives, PLCs, and sensors.
- Perform welding, brazing, and fabrication of parts, guards, and equipment.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Use precision tools, test equipment, and material handling equipment.
- Follow safety protocols, report incidents, and wear required PPE.
- Document maintenance activities and reconcile work assignments at shift end.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Technical vocational training or military experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 - 4 years’ experience in maintenance roles.
- Experience in a non-climate-controlled environment is often preferred.
Work Environment
- Non-climate-controlled environment.
- Dusty environment.
- Operates after hours, requiring stamina and adaptability to work shift.
- Must be able to work in industrial settings with potential exposure to chemicals, solvents, and heavy equipment.
