Job Description
Position Summary
Manage a patient assignment on an assigned patient care unit at the NIH Clinical Center, providing direct support to patients under the direction of the nursing team. Selected candidates will complete training on the facility’s Patient Care Technician competencies and Crisis Prevention Training.
13 weeks with possible extension
36 hours per week.
Day/Night Rotation. Orientation required on Day shift during week.
W-2 position.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Completion of a course of education leading to, and possession of, certification as a nurse assistant.
Certification: Current CNA certification; current BLS.
Experience: Minimum two (2) years in an acute care hospital. (Exceeds the PWS baseline of one year.)
Role-Specific Requirements
