Senior Media Planner (Integrated)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Media Planner (Integrated) based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape integrated, performance-driven media strategies for complex client accounts.
You’ll connect audience insights, market intelligence, performance data, and emerging media trends to business objectives.
The position spans Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, CTV, Video, Audio, DOOH, and broader full-funnel planning.
You’ll own important planning deliverables while collaborating closely with activation, creative, analytics, and senior client stakeholders.
Your recommendations will influence media investment, campaign performance, testing strategies, and long-term growth opportunities.
The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, analytical, and highly client-facing, with room to mentor others and influence strategy.
This is an ideal opportunity for a media strategist who combines strong analytical judgment with compelling storytelling and a passion for consumer behavior.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and support integrated, full-funnel media strategies aligned with client objectives, customer journeys, and business priorities.
  • Analyze cross-channel performance data to guide budget allocation, investment decisions, optimization, and growth opportunities.
  • Drive planning across Paid Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic channels, including Display, Video, CTV, OTT, Audio, and DOOH.
  • Develop recommendations covering media mix, audience targeting, creative strategy, KPIs, measurement frameworks, and testing opportunities.
  • Manage paid media budgets throughout planning, pacing, in-flight reallocations, optimization, incremental investment scenarios, and fiscal reconciliation.
  • Conduct audience research, competitive analysis, market intelligence, and industry research to identify trends, opportunities, and whitespace.
  • Partner with activation, creative, analytics, and other internal teams to ensure channel execution aligns with the broader media strategy.
  • Monitor campaign pacing and performance trends, reviewing channel recommendations and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Lead testing and learning initiatives that encourage continuous innovation and measurable performance improvement.
  • Develop cross-channel forecasts to establish expected outcomes and support investment, business planning, and growth decisions.
  • Contribute to RFPs and prospective-client planning efforts by developing strategic media recommendations.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic insights, performance updates, recommendations, planning documents, reports, and business reviews, including presentations to senior client stakeholders.
  • Partner with Director- and VP-level stakeholders to support strategic planning and strengthen ongoing client relationships.
  • Build expertise in client industries, omnichannel retail dynamics, seasonal trends, consumer behavior, emerging media platforms, and evolving industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior team members, review planning deliverables, and contribute to the development of high-quality strategic work.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of experience in paid media advertising, media planning, digital strategy, or a related agency or marketing environment.
  • Multi-channel expertise across Paid Search, Paid Social, and/or Programmatic platforms such as Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, DV360, or comparable tools.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, optimizing, analyzing, and reporting on paid campaigns supporting both brand and performance objectives.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel media strategy, audience planning, media methodologies, and performance measurement across the customer journey.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, planning deliverables, and stakeholders across complex client accounts.
  • Experience managing media spend, pacing, reconciliation, and forecasting, ideally for annual client budgets exceeding $10 million.
  • Experience supporting integrated media strategies for omnichannel retail, ecommerce, ISP/telco, or similarly complex environments is highly valuable.
  • Experience collaborating with analytics teams on tracking, reporting frameworks, dashboards, attribution, and measurement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience presenting recommendations directly to clients.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, particularly Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides, as well as media reporting and planning platforms.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Experience mentoring junior colleagues or reviewing and guiding planning work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with audience targeting, national versus local media strategies, seasonal planning, and online/offline conversion objectives is a plus.
Benefits:
  • Annual salary range of $75,000–$90,000, with actual compensation based on experience, skills, education, location, certifications, responsibilities, and market factors.
  • Remote-first work environment.
  • Flexible work schedules.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • Extended winter holiday break.
  • 100% paid parental leave.
  • 401(k) matching.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Life and pet insurance.
  • Sponsored life insurance.
  • Short-term disability and additional voluntary insurance options.
  • Annual ClassPass credits.
  • Remote work available in most U.S. states, with some geographic exclusions.
  • Priority consideration for candidates located in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.
  • Access to office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York for collaboration, events, and professional development.
  • Opportunities to work with senior stakeholders, contribute to strategic initiatives, and develop expertise across integrated media and emerging channels.
  • U.S. work authorization required; immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
