The Barista creates a welcoming customer experience by preparing and serving quality coffee, tea, beverages, and food items while providing friendly, efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, beverages, and food items according to standards.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Operate the register, process payments, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready work areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, health, safety, and security procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, hotel services, and local area information.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous chain food, beverage, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
• Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Physical & Scheduling Requirements

• Ability to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
• Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• This is an on-site position.
