About This Position

Description:

Complete job tasks, with quality workmanship, as assigned, while maintaining compliance with all state and federal guidelines that apply for weatherization of client homes.

Performance will be based on program goals, quality workmanship, attention to detail, required testing and paperwork, deadlines and other quality indicators established for this position. Positive collaboration with other employees, contractors, funding sources and effective relationship building with clients is essential.

Requirements:

Account for and ensure that tools and equipment are kept in good working condition.

Ensure that all supplies are accounted for on the job site.

Maintain inventory control in work trucks.

Minimize need for rework through quality workmanship.

Strive for high PRISM Results and quality reviews.

Complete all paperwork associated with job sites in a timely manner.

Understand and comply with program guidelines.

Contribute to positive relationships with homeowners and subcontractors.

Provide courteous, professional service to homeowners and present a positive image of TRI-CAP.

Refrain from criticizing any TRI-CAP employees, subcontractors, or funding sources in front of clients or any other individuals on the job site.

Ensure a quality and efficient service is provided to qualifying clients.

Complete blower-door and pressure pan tests on homes.

Inspect ductwork appropriately.

Conduct worse case draft tests on each home with a draft appliance.

Inspect and test water heaters and furnaces to complete paperwork.

Identify Energy Saving and Health and Safety measures.

Complete work orders in an efficient manner.

Sustain effective working relationships with TRI-CAP and Weatherization team.

Understand and comply with agency guidelines.

Make sure time cards and supporting documentation are completed on a daily basis.

Become familiar with Personnel Handbook and Fiscal processes to ensure compliance.

Communicate effectively with the Weatherization Director, Weatherization Quality Control Inspector, Executive Director, and all other agency staff members.

Maintain a safe work environment.

Comply with flex scheduling and travel as required.

Other duties as requested by Crew Leader, Weatherization Director, and the Executive Director.
