We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. The CNA will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature

- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using assistive devices as needed

- Serve meals and assist with feeding as necessary

- Document patient care and observations accurately and timely

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment

- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures

Education:

• Knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of two years of high school

Certification:

• Active CNA certification in the state of Illinois

Other:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk a minimum of 90% of working time
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Basic computer skills
