CMM/Layout Technician- B Shift in Rochester, New York at Century Mold Co

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Complete layout inspection activities for launch of new programs, annual layouts, as well as engineering changes for current programs.

• Utilization of fixturing for the layouts.

• Support manufacturing operations through completion of in-process product inspections as details in QCP.

• Assist in resolution of customer complaints and participate in continuous improvement activities through completion of product layouts including capability studies.

• Interpret customer part drawings including GD&T designations for proper part staging and measurement methodology.

• Seek most efficient means of delivering on-time layouts with heavy emphasis on programming for repetitive measurements.

• Timely communication of issues preventing the completion of on-time layouts.

Education and/or Experience:

Preferred college or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Email/Teams); PC DMIS software; GD&T software; Measuremax software;

Ability to learn new software as needed.
