PARKS II - DIRT JUMP PARK MAINTENANCE at Park City Municipal Corporation – Park City, Utah

RATE OF PAY: $20-$24 PER HOUR (D.O.E.)

JOB SUMMARY

Under the guidance and general direction of the Assistant Recreation Director Dirt Jump Maintenance employees are responsible for seasonal repair and ongoing maintenance of the Park City Dirt Jump Park. Work requires excellent knowledge of bike park maintenance, rider safety and design including but not limited to digging, packing and repair of jumps and landings, pump track and dirt jumps maintenance and safety of park features. Season is May-October.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES

• Performs maintenance including feature building, sweeping of transitions, and weather impacts.
• Reports maintenance issues of the park to administrative staff to keep the facility in good working order and to provide a safe environment for users.
• Attends appropriate or required department-wide training opportunities.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all users.
• Responds to public inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bike Park or Trail building experience.
• Proficient in Mountain Biking, BMX or Dirt Jumping
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
