About This Position
We are looking for an experienced Banquet Manager to oversee the daily front of the house operations of the Banquet Department. A viable candidate must be business minded and work to build a successful entity; project future business needs and develop customer loyalty. Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage day-to-day banquet front of the house operations, including staff scheduling, employee relations, payroll, linen control, inventory management, and customer experience
- Conduct interviews and facilitate the hiring process for the department
- Train and supervise banquet staff to deliver high-quality experiences
- Direct the banquet staff in servicing all banquet activities and events in order to ensure a successful operation ending in a positive guest experience and repeat business while maintaining the company's standard for excellence
- Evaluate, measure, and modify critical processes as needed with Food & Beverage Director; develops and maintains positive working relationships with others; listens and responds appropriately to their concerns
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pay Range (Salaried): $70,000 – $75,000 per year

- At least 3 years of Banquet Management experience
- Proven leadership qualities with effective coaching skills to motivate & develop team members
- Solid food and wine knowledge
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Proficient in computer systems used in administrative tasks
- Accounting and budgeting knowledge
- Has strong organization skills and is effective at working multiple priorities
- Ability to anticipate guest needs
- Ability to adapt to changing situations, working under pressure, and handling unexpected situations with grace
- Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
