Estimating Take-Off Specialist at Sterling Construction Company, Inc. – Phoenix, Arizona

Position Description

• Performs accurate, thorough and timely quantity takeoffs using company software format, detail and for heavy civil construction projects.
• Work on multiple projects concurrently with ability to multitask.
• Obtains clarification on plans and specifications from the lead estimator on any particular project.
• Analyzes plan documents and Specifications.
• May Assist the estimating team in soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and vendor pricing input when required.
• Becomes proficient in all computer software programs (AGTEK, On Screen Take-Off ((OST)) Blue Beam) Present findings, changes, or other information to client staff.

Requirements

• AA or higher degree in Construction Management or related education and/ or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Take-off experience on heavy civil construction projects.
• Experience with AGTEK, OST-On Screen Take-off and Bluebeam programs.
• Ability to work with other team members.
