(2) RECREATION LEADERS - TEEN EXPEDITIONS: $16.40 PER HOUR

The City of Northampton Parks and Recreation Department is seeking dynamic individuals looking to make a difference in the lives of children this summer. Be a part of an extraordinary team of staff who are committed to caring and fostering relationships, creating an exciting, safe, wholesome summer camp experience for local kids this summer!

Traditional full day camp fun at Kidzone and Camp Hamp. Daily adventures with active exploration of local attractions at Teen Expeditions.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 18 years of age or older required. Qualified Northampton residents will be given first consideration.

Equivalent of 2 seasons' experience in youth related recreation activities; or, 1 year of college, preferably recreation oriented.

WORK SCHEDULES:

Camp Kid Zone (Grades 1-4)

Camp Hamp (Grades 5-6)

Teen Expeditions (Grades 7-10)

Camps are full time 45 hours per week.

Hours are Monday-Friday from 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Starting and ending dates are discussed during interviews.

The programs start approximately on June 14, 2025, plus 2 mandatory pre-season training days.

FRINGE BENEFITS:

There are no fringe benefits and no holiday pay for July 4.
