Job Description
To be based within Ocean County market.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience working with Commercial Lending and product support in a banking or financial institution
- 5-7 years of proven business development and sales experience including cold calling prospects.
- Actively market Manasquan Bank products and services to the business community.
- Proactively call on existing and prospective commercial clients to develop new business and to retain and expand existing business.
- Partner with branch managers and commercial lenders to assist with calling efforts and client support.
- Develop top prospect list on a monthly basis.
- Support Commercial Lending in all aspects of client service and product delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated ability to succeed in a sales environment.
- Working knowledge of branch operations and banking regulations.
- Working knowledge of banking products, services, and software.
- Proficient in public relations and community involvement for the purpose of developing new business and expanding on existing client relationships.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, listening.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Ability to manage time, resources, and set priorities to accomplish multiple duties.
- Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
- High level of commitment to exceptional service and client relationship development for internal/external clients.
- Possess the level of product knowledge necessary to effectively promote the Bank’s products and services by identifying cross selling opportunities, educating clients regarding the benefits of the Bank’s products and services, and effectively promoting them.

- Complete all required enterprise-wide training to keep current on regulatory and industry trends.
Working conditions are those of an “open” office environment, which can require the ability to manage some stress such as noise level from customers, employees, and general office equipment, etc. Daily use of wrists, hands, and fingers: to use computer, telephone, fax, copier, and general office equipment. Ability to gather information from clients. Sitting for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), standing, and walking up to 15% of work time. Ability to operate a motor vehicle for travel within our footprint.
