Financial Counselor at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• This position provides financial counseling assistance to patients or guarantors of patient accounts for the purpose of settling outstanding hospital balances due for services rendered.
• The position’s primary customers are the patients or guarantors of patient accounts for which an outstanding hospital service balance remains. Suppliers include other Patient Financial Services Department employees as well as internal hospital employees.
• The base hourly rate for this position is $17.27. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This full-time position will require you to work 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday through Friday. This position is partial, remote eligible.

What is required for this position:

Education and/or Experience

• High School graduate and six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.
